Un peu de musique

Etant donné que je suis en pleine recherche de boulot, à part me balader et profiter de ma piscine et de mon spa, on pourrait croire que je profite moins de l’Australie. Mais en fait non, l'Australie ce n'est pas qu'un grand pays avec des super paysages (et avec parfois pas mal de sales bestioles dedans)! Il y a le surf, le sport en général, du vin qui m'a l'air pas trop mal (je n'ai pas encore fait d'étude empirique sur le sujet), une grande culture culinaire (non là je déconne, faut pas abuser non plus ^^). Ils aussi ont une scène musicale plutôt sympa, en voici un florilège:

Given that I'm actually looking for a job, except strolls in the city and enjoying my swimming pool and my spa, one should think that I don't see much of Australia. But that's not really true, Australia is not only a big country with awesome landscapes (and sometimes some nasty animals living there!). There is surf, sports in general, some wines which seems ok (though I still don't have pushed really far my studies in this area), and a rich cooking culture (I'm just kidding there ^^). They also have a great musical scene, here is a little sample of it:

Je profite d'une aprem un peu calme, pour mettre un peu à jour mon blog et mettre quelques photos en ligne :).

Après avoir enfin terminé toutes les démarches, reçu tout ce que j'avais à recevoir, j'ai décidé de me trouver une colloc. Histoire, de vivre l'aventure de l'intérieur, de me poser un un peu, et aussi de me mettre la pression pour trouver un boulot. C'est ce que j'aime avec ce projet, rien n'est décidé, rien n'est fixé. J'ai choisi de rester sur Sydney plutôt que de partir en vadrouille car j'en avais envie/besoin, pour me rassurer/prendre confiance. Pas que je sois étouffé par les doutes sur ma démarche, bien au contraire, jusqu'ici je me régale. J'avais juste besoin de choisir une ligne de conduite et de m'y tenir. Maintenant, advienne que pourra!

Je m'attendais à galérer un peu plus pour trouver la colloc, mais en fait c'est assez facile d'en trouver une. Au final, le plus long aura été la méga balade pour visiter tout les apparts que j'avais sélectionné, 6h et des brouettes quand même. J'ai trouvé un appart en plein centre avec piscine, sauna, spa, et salle de sport (\o/), et le tout moins cher qu'en auberge, plutôt great donc! Je posterai quelques images de l'appart et de l'immeuble un peu plus tard. 

Maintenant, il ne me manque plus que le boulot et j'aurais atteint mes objectifs du moment.

Pour ce qui est de la vie de tout les jours, grosse amélioration : j'ai enfin accès à une bonne cuisine et je vais donc pouvoir reprendre un peu la cuisine, en m'adaptant à la cuisine et aux produits locaux évidemment. Idem pour la chambre, adieu les italiens qui rentrent à 4h du mat en allumant la lumière tout en parlant FORT. Même si l'hostel était coolox et que j'ai besoin de peu de sommeil, le calme c'est quand même pas mal.

J'ai aussi rencontré pas mal de gens bien sympas, ce qui permet de faire le touriste en bonne compagnie. Comme hier soir par exemple, on est allé assister à une parade pour le nouvel an chinois, suivie d'un feu d'artifice sur le darling harbour. C'est mon deuxième feu d'artifice dans le coin et c'est vraiment très sympa.

Sur ce, je vous laisse regarder les photos si ce n'est pas déjà fait. Moi je vais m'attaquer à la version anglaise et j’enchaînerai sur mes CV.

I'm taking advantage of a calm afternoon to update my blog and upload some new pics.

After finishing all the administrative stuff, received all i had to receive, i decided to find a flatshare. To live this adventure from the inside, to settle down a bit, and also to get more pressure to find a job. That's what i like about this project, nothing is imposed, nothing is decided. I choose to stay in Sydney instead of wandering off because i wanted to/needed to do it in order to reassure myself/ to be more confident. Not that i really am tangled up in doubts, quite the contrary, so far i'm enjoying myself. I just needed to find a line of action and stick to it. Now, come what may!

I was expecting to have a hard time to find a flatshare, but in fact it's quite easy to find one. In the end, it was the long walk, that i did to see all the flats, which took me a lot of time, around 6 hours. But it was worthwhile, i found a flat down town, with a swimming pool, a spa, a sauna, and a gym (\o/), all that for a rent cheaper than the one at hostel. I'll post a few pictures of it later.

Right now, i only need to find a job, and i'll have fulfilled my goals so far.

As for the everyday life, some great improvements : now i have a real kitchen so i'm able to cook again, of course i'll adapt my cooking style to australian recipes and local food. Idem for the bedroom, no more Italian guys who come back at 4.30 turning on the lights in the room while speaking loudly. Even if the hostel was nice, and the fact i don't need a lot of sleep, calm is awesome.

Since i've been in Sydney, i've met nice people, it allows me to be tourist in good company. For example, last night we went to see the chinese new year parade, followed by a firework display on the darling harbour. It's my second firework display in this area, and it's really great.
